I built this for only $10 | Master Closet Renovation EP09

We needed a spot to sit and put our shoes on in the new closet, so this is what I came up with. The rest of the Master Closet Renovation has been very modern looking, so we went with a rustic style on this piece of furniture. This rustic farmhouse bench will be a great spot to put our shoes on. And I made it for only $10!

      If I ended up with a partial piece (which I did), I didn’t want that to be seen immediately as you entered. I would much rather it be near the window on the far wall where it won’t be seen.

    How thin a leather can you get away with on the Glow Forge?

    • @BruceAUlrich
      @BruceAUlrich 19 дней назад

      It can engrave standard copy paper without cutting through it, so I’d say pretty thin.

  • @leigh-jo
    @leigh-jo 23 дня назад

    I need to cut about 1/4 off so that it fits flush against the wall. How do I prevent the staves, and basically the entire barrel from falling apart?

    • @BruceAUlrich
      @BruceAUlrich 21 день назад

      That's why I drilled through the hoops at 1:23 to stabilize the barrel.

    • @leigh-jo
      @leigh-jo 21 день назад

      @@BruceAUlrich A screw in each individual stave isn't necessary to prevent it from each of them falling off separately?

    • @BruceAUlrich
      @BruceAUlrich 21 день назад

      @leigh-jo you basically have to put a screw through the hoop into each stave. When these have liquid in them, they swell and are tight. After they’re empty, they shrink and start to fall apart.

      No, I would not recommend the SuperCell for this. It is meant to collect at the tools. I would buy or build some type of an air cleaner/air scrubber. Jay Bates has a video about how to make one here on RUclips.
